Alternate cake storer
I have one of those nifty Decor Cake Storer with a lifter so that cakes can be easily removed.
However, instead of using said nifty cake lifter, I often use another container turned upside down, and place the cake on the lid instead.

That looks EXACTLY like the cake and container we had today. Except it was a banana cake.
