Mirrormorphia

There might be a better word. But this post is about when there are 2 things you always thought were the one and the same. Then you suddenly put them next to each other and realise they are 2 separate and different things. eg:

Star Trek and Star Wars
Orson Welles and George Orwell
Maxine McKew and Jennifer Byrne
Marulan and Merriwa
Bowral and Bega
Cumberland and Carlingford
Rugby Union and Rugby League

  1. Mine are all to do with music:

Cat Power and The Cat Empire

The Decemberists and The Dismemberment Plan.

The Smiths and The Script (worst faux pas ever, according to Ben!)

Still, you can see why I get confused!

  4. I used to think Kings of Leon were Queens of the Stone Age.

I find the Woollahra and Wahroonga mix-up funny because I grew up in the North Shore :) I remember Jess G telling me she went to Wahroongra for something and I looked at her incredulously and "Wow! You went to Wahroonga for that?? That's commitment!"
