Laundry. I sort them into warm wash and cold wash.
Hence this label on my new $15 Target jeans is confusing.
Can you read it? In green it says THINK CLIMATE COLD WASH & LINE DRY. Then further on it says WARM MACHINE WASH SEPARATELY.
So how am I supposed to wash you jeans? Does it matter either way?
I think it means you save energy when you cold wash & line dry.
ReplyDeleteSo you can do that. Or you can warm machine wash.
This video might be a good place to start in understanding denim (though targeted at men in the US, and far removed from discount jeans, I think you'll still like it).

I NEVER warm wash. My laundry powder says it is for cold only. What does warm washing do that is better?
ReplyDeleteI want to wash the way that is best for the clothes. I did a quick google search before and I think hot water is good for cotton & linen (e.g. sheets), but cold or warm water is better for other materials or kills germs better or something or other.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Dave - will have to check it out during my off-peak quota :P
